JioTV+ app now available on all major smart TVs: Everything you need to know

JioTV+ service is only available for select JioFiber and Jio AirFiber subscribers.

Reliance has expanded its JioTV+ app, previously limited to Jio AirFiber and Jio Fiber set-top boxes, to all major smart TV platforms, including Android TV, Apple tvOS, and Amazon Fire OS. Jio Fiber and AirFiber subscribers can now access up to 800 live TV channels and content from over 13 OTT platforms on multiple smart TVs using the JioTV+ app.

With JioTV+, users can browse live TV channels and stream content from major OTT platforms like Hotstar, Netflix, and Prime Video. However, access to JioTV+ is available only with specific Jio Fiber and Jio AirFiber plans, and users can now access JioTV+ on more than one device.

Unlike the standalone JioTV app, which requires a separate premium subscription, JioTV+ integrates with Jio’s set-top box and functions with a Jio Fiber or AirFiber network. The app can now be downloaded on most modern smart TVs, but the TV must be connected to a Jio Wi-Fi network to access its content.

The most affordable Jio Fiber plan with JioTV+ costs Rs 999 per month for prepaid users, offering up to 150 Mbps download speed. For postpaid users, the plan costs Rs 599 per month with unlimited data at 30 Mbps. Jio AirFiber users can access JioTV+ with the base Rs 599 plan, which includes 1000 GB of data at 30 Mbps.
