Jio launches country-specific international roaming plans: Price starts at Rs 891 for 7-day plan

For Indians planning to travel to Thailand, Jio now has two new recharge plans with the base plan starting at Rs 1551 with 14 days of validity along with 6 GB of data, 200 minutes of calling, and 50 SMS. For those planning to stay longer, Jio has a plan with 30 days of validity for Rs 2851, which offers 12 GB of data, 300 minutes of calling, and 100 SMS.

Jio has also introduced two new plans for Canada. The base plan with 14 days of validity costs Rs 1,691 and offers 5 GB of data, 200 minutes of calling, and 50 SMS and the plan with 30 days validity will offer 10 GB of data, 300 minutes of calling, and 100 SMS.

Jio’s international plan for UAE starts at Rs 898 for the seven-day plan with 1 GB of data, 100 SMS, and 200 minutes of calling. Similarly, there is also a 14-day plan that costs Rs 1,598, which offers 300 minutes of calling, 3 GB of data, and lastly, the same plan with 21 days of validity costs Rs 2998 and offers 500 minutes of calling 7 GB of data, and 100 SMS.

For those travelling to Saudi Arabia, Jio also has three new plans with the base plan starting at Rs 891 with 7 days of validity along with 200 minutes of calling and 20 SMS. Similarly, the plan with 14-day validity costs Rs 1291 and offers 200 minutes of calling 2 GB of data, and 50 SMS. Lastly, the plan with 30 days of validity costs Rs 2891 and offers 5 GB data, 300 minutes of calling and 100 SMS.

For all the European countries, covering 32 different countries, Jio is offering a plan with 30 days of validity with 200 minutes of calling, 5 GB of data and 100 SMS for Rs 2,899. There are also additional country-specific plans for the Caribbean region and other markets with varied benefits.
