Jaguar unveils Type 00, a new concept two door electric car with no rear windows
Jaguar's latest concept electric car - the Type 00 is more than five meters long and has an oval steering wheel.

A few weeks ago, British carmaker Jaguar unveiled a new logotype and said it was preparing for a “new era” as it plans to go all-electric. At Miami Art Week, the company showcased the Type 00 – a concept electric car that looks like a Rolls Royce but has the design language of a Tesla Cybertruck.
Gerry McGovern, the Chief Creative Officer of the JLR Group said that the whole concept “will make you feel uncomfortable. That’s fine. We have to continue to evolve it, and there will be continuous curation. Because the world is not standing still.”
While Type 00 won’t be available for purchase, Jaguar says that with its newest concept electric vehicle, it wanted to show what its future production models will look like.

The Jaguar Type 00 is over five meters long, with huge brass bars running through the cabin and a long divider that separates the seats. The car was showcased in two colours – Miami Pink in honour of Miami’s iconic architecture and London Blue, which the company says is inspired by the Opalescent Silver Blue of the 1960s Jaguar E-type.
The front of the car has two huge displays that can show information related to the car or used to watch content, play music and do other things. It also has an oval steering wheel, but for some reason, Jaguar has opted to remove the rear windows and the rear windshield, which is now replaced by rear cameras hidden in the sides of the body.
Jaguar says the Type 00 has a projected range of up to 430 miles, with the fast charger offering 200 miles of range in a mere 15 minutes. When it comes to looks, the Type 00 is pretty long and wide, with the edges looking like the company took inspiration from the Tesla Cybertruck.
