Dell launches new Latitude, Precision laptops with AI features

Dell India announced the launch of a new series of Latitude and Precision laptops with AI features.

Dell on Friday announced the launch of a range of new PCs — The Latitude 9450 2-in-1, the Latitude 5450 business laptop, the Latitude 7350 Detachable, and the Precision 5490.

“Dell commercial PCs have been fueling transformation for decades, and the advancements in AI capabilities in our latest generation of devices will help our customer’s workforce a leg up on the competition to lead their industry into the AI era. The new Latitude and Precisions deliver AI-enhanced productivity and collaboration for business professionals in the hybrid work era,” said Indrajit Belgundi, Senior Director and General Manager, Client Solutions Group, Dell Technologies India, in a press statement.

Some of the laptops come with integrated multi-processor packages with CPUs, GPUs and NPUs that can offload work to xPU, an AI engine. This can help deliver better performance along with longer battery life. Some of these laptops also come with a Copilot Key for instant access to the Microsoft AI chatbot.

Dell Latitude 9450 2-in-1

The new Dell Latitude 9450 2-in-1 is aimed at executives, salespeople and consultants, and the company claims it is the world’s smallest 14-inch commercial PC. It comes with a 16:10 InfinityEdge QHD+ display with features like Dell’s Zero-Lattice Keyboard and Haptic Collaboration Touchpad. It starts at Rs 2,60,699.

Dell Latitude 7350 Detachable

Dell calls the Latitude 7350 the world’s “most versatile commercial detachable.” It is a lightweight tablet with an attachable keyboard. It comes with a 3k resolution display with Dell’s ComfortViewPlus technology aimed at reducing the harmful effects of blue light. The 2-in-1 device’s price starts at Rs 1,73,999.

Dell Latitude 5450

The Dell Latitude 5450 is part of the company’s 5000 series and uses up to 19 per cent recycled content. It is powered by Intel Core Ultra U series chips. The laptop starts at Rs 1,10,999.

Dell Precision 5490

The new Dell Precision 5490 comes with a touch-enabled 14-inch InfinityEdge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The company says it comes with AI-enhanced updates that can help improve user productivity. The laptop starts at Rs 2,19,999.
