Apple is gearing up to launch M3-powered Macs as early as this fall. In his latest Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said Apple is planning to unveil the M3 chip later this year.
The report claims that Apple will introduce the new iMac in October, a month after the big iPhone event in September. Apple will announce the new iMac almost exactly after two years after the M1-powered iMac hit the market. Expect the new iMac to feature the same colourful design and a compact form factor, featuring a 24-inch display.
Similarly, the newsletter also suggests that Apple is also working on a large-sized iMac, featuring a 32-inch screen, speculated to launch in late 2024, which could feature a new form factor and is likely to be aimed at professional users.
The first M3 Macs are likely to be a 13 inch MacBook Air, iMac and 13 inch MacBook Pro — with high end M3 MacBook Pros to follow later. The iPad Pro will also get the M3 next year. https://t.co/dbu1IXdMJ9

Besides the M3 iMac, Apple is also reported to announce the new MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro, based on the same M3 processors. However, if you are waiting for a new iPad Pro with an OLED screen, you might have to wait at least until early 2024.
Apple Silicon M3 is speculated to be fabbed using a 3nm processor, making it more power efficient when compared to the Apple Silicon M2/M1. Similarly, these new processors are also expected to deliver improved CPU and GPU performance.
