Ahead of the launch of its new products on September 9, Apple has announced a new iCloud tier that offers users 2TB of storage at Rs 1,300 a month. This new plan will be along with the existing plans and will no replace the existing plans. In India, iCloud users can now buy extra storage starting Rs 65 per month for 50GB. The 200GB plan is priced Rs 190 per month and the 1TB plan at Rs 650 per month. Apple offers 5GB of iCloud storage free. Interestingly, The Verge suggest that this new storage plan gives more than a hint about the storage of the new iPhone the "largest iCloud storage tier has always been eight times that of the largest capacity iPhone" and this means there could be a 256GB iPhone 7 version. Incidentally, Apple sells a 256GB version of the iPad Pro. While Google gives 15GB free, 100 GB extra is priced $1.99, 1 TB at $9.99, 10 TB at $99.99, 20 TB at $199.99 and 30 TB at $299.99. Microsoft's OneDrive, meanwhile, offers 50GB at $1.99 per month and 1TB at $6.99 per month making it the cheaper option of the three. The Microsoft 1TB plan also comes with access to Office 365 apps.
