The 2023 edition of the Aspire 5 is a compact gaming laptop featuring a mercury-free 14-inch display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, featuring a 170-degree viewing angle and a 16:10 aspect ratio. These features make it an environmentally friendly gaming machine. Despite packing a dedicated graphics card, it weighs just 1.57 kg, making it a travel-friendly machine.
The laptop offers a full-sized HDMI port, a couple of USB-A ports, and a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 port, which also supports USB-PD fast charging.
In terms of performance, the Intel Core i5-1335U processor offers two high-performance P-cores running at up to 4.6 GHz and eight power-efficient E-cores with a max clock speed of 3.4 GHz. The processor is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. Similarly, the 4 GB RTX 2050 graphics card supports the latest features like NVIDIA DLSS for high refresh rate gaming, and it also has NVIDIA Optimus technology, which further optimizes battery life while performing GPU-intensive tasks like gaming or video editing.
As for connectivity, the new Acer Aspire 5 is up-to-date with support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.0. It even supports MU-MIMO technology, which allows multiple devices to connect simultaneously. The Acer Aspire 5 is already on sale via select online and offline channels, with the laptop priced at Rs 70,990.
