Apple's upcoming 10th Gen Apple Watch might introduce some breakthrough health-centric features such as blood pressure monitoring, and sleep apnea detection, suggests a latest report from Blomberg. According to Mark Gurman's Power on newsletter, the 2024 Apple Watch lineup will include a major upgrade to make them appealing to more customers. The report also suggests that at least one Apple Watch will offer a significant design overhaul. Right now, it is unclear if Apple is going to update the design of the premium Ultra watch or the regular variants, which are usually available in two sizes. Dubbed the 10th anniversary model, it is reported that, the upcoming watch, launching in Q3 2024 could be lighter, thinner, and is also speculated to use a new and magnetic mechanism for the straps. On top of the design overhaul, these watches are also expected to offer an array of new health-centric features, including but not limited to hypertension, accurate blood pressure monitoring, and sleep apnea detection. With the upcoming iteration, the company is also expected to add new software-based features and new watch faces with unique complications. Apple originally announced its first Watch back in 2014, which went on sale in 2015. Apple is expected to announce the 10th-gen smartwatch in September 2024, along with the iPhone 16 series, which is likely to consist of four models. Besides, the company is expected to upgrade the entire iPad lineup in 2024, starting with the iPad Pro series, which is speculated to feature a bigger OLED screen, powerful M3 processor, revamped design, and an improved Magic Keyboard.
