Xiaomi Mi 5s is a variant of company’s flagship Mi 5. The smartphone is expected to hit the markets later this year. A report on MyDrivers reveal Mi 5s could come with a pressure-sensitive display, similar to Apple’s 3D Touch. The high-end Mi 5s will come with 6GB RAM, claims the report.
Mi 5s could be the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature dual camera setup. We have seen dual camera setup in smartphones like LG G5 and Qiku Q Terra in the past. Generally, one camera is used for clicking pictures and the other one gives images the required depth.
The current Mi 5 version available in India has an 820 processor, 3GB RAM, 16 megapixel rear camera with 4-axis OIS and a five megapixel front camera. It features a 5.15-inch full HD display and a curved 3D glass back.
Xiaomi is also rumoured to be working on Mi Note 2, alongside Mi 5s. Mi Note 2 is expected to launch in two variants, suggests a report on Gizchina. According to the site, the standard variant of Mi Note 2 will come with 1080p display and the flagship version will feature a 2K curved display. Reports claim Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will launch on July 25.
