Vivo has launched Xplay5 and Xplay5 Ultimate smartphones in China. The Xplay5 Ultimate is the bigger cousin of Xplay5 and it features 6GB RAM.
Vivo Xplay5 Ultimate becomes the first smartphone to feature 6GB RAM. Vivo had previously launched Vivo X5 Max which was the slimmest smartphone ever with a thickness of just 4.75mm.
Vivo Xplay5 Ultimate features 5.43-inch curved Quad HD display, same as this year’s Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Under the hood, there is a 2.15 quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled and 128GB non-expandable storage.
The Vivo XPlay5 Ultimate is crafted out magnesium-aluminium alloy. The smartphone is just 7.59mm thick and weighs 167.8 grams.
Vivo Xplay5 Ultimate runs Funtouch OS 2.6 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. On the camera front, there is a 16MP primary camera with F2.0 aperture and PDAF. The front camera is 8MP shooter with F2.4 aperture.
Interestingly, Vivo Xplay5 Ultimate uses regular microUSB slot for charging. The smartphone is backed by a huge 3600mAh battery. Vivo Xplay5 Ultimate will be available in Rose Gold and Gold colour variants.
