Vertu has announced Aster Yosegi Wood, designed using a fusion of traditional Japanese art with British craftsmanship. The limited edition Aster Yosegi Wood is available in selected stores globally, starting at £7,200 (roughly translates to over 7 lakhs).
Vertu Aster features a 4.7-inch full HD display has a resolution of 473ppi. It is protected by the 5.1-inch sapphire crystal screen. The smartphone supports high-speed data through quad-band GSM, 3G and LTE 4G.
Additionaly, the company will provide six months’ complimentary access to unlimited, global Wi-Fi, at over 50 million hotspot locations. Aster comes with Dolby Digital Plus virtual surround sound. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 2.3GHz 801 Quad-core processor.
Vertu Aster features 13mp rear camera with a sapphire crystal lens, anti-reflection and front camera for video-calling. The device has integrated front facing stereo speakers and supports bluetooth.
The smartphone has a contemporary design and comes with an ability to individually tailor phones via Vertu’s personalisation service. In 2002, Vertu launched its first phone, Signature with sapphire crystal screen, ruby bearings and stainless steel chassis.
