Samsung Galaxy J5 and J7 are finally official. The company has made the 2016 versions of its J series official on its China website. The Samsung Galaxy J7 and J5 2016 versions are an upgrade to J7 and J5 smartphones announced last year. The new smartphones mimic the new design language adopted by Korean smartphone maker. Samsung Galaxy J7 features a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display while Galaxy J5 gets a smaller 5.2-inch HD AMOLED display. Samsung Galaxy J7 is powered by an octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM while Galaxy J5 has a quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. Both the smartphones come with 16GB internal storage further expandable up to 128GB via dedicated memory card slot. On the camera front, Samsung Galaxy J7 and J5 get a 13-megapixel main camera with a f aperture. They also sport a 5MP front camera with a f aperture. Samsung Galaxy J7 is backed by a 3,300mAh battery while Galaxy J5 gets 3,100mAh Li-Ion battery. The smartphones are available for purchase but their price is undisclosed for now.
