Samsung recently launched the world's first quad-camera setup smartphone called the Galaxy A9 in Malaysia. At the event, the company had announced that the device will be made available globally in November. Galaxy A9 listing is now live on Samsung's India website. It has also setup a dedicated page for the same where interested people can register themselves to receive all details regarding the device. Samsung is yet to reveal details regarding the price and availability status of the device. The Galaxy A9 sports a 6.3-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2220x1080 pixels. It is powered by an unspecified octa-core processor paired with either 6GB/8GB RAM. For now, it looks like Samsung will only be bringing the 6GB RAM variant to India as the listing page has no mention of the 8GB RAM variant. The device comes with 128GB internal storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. All of this is backed by a 3,800mAh non-removable battery. Galaxy A9 sports four camera lenses at the back comprising of 24MP AF primary sensor with f, a 10MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom and f, an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide 120-degree lens, f and a 5MP sensor for depth effect. On the front, it features a 24MP sensor with a f aperture for taking selfies.
