Realme U1 has been confirmed to launch in India next week. The smartphone will launch in the country on November 28, where it will be exclusive to Amazon India. Last week, Realme confirmed that it plans to launch a new phone under its U-series and looks like it is none other than the U1. In case you are not aware, Realme U1 will be the first smartphone to hit the market with MediaTek’s Helio P70 processor, which was announced last month.

While not much is known about the device, the Amazon India listing page for the Realme UI shows that the smartphone will be a selfie-centric device. The listing reveals that the Realme UI  will be “the most powerful selfie camera ever”, when it launches on November 28 at 12:30pm. Users can sign up for updates regarding the phone via the ‘Notify Me’, though the launch will only happen on November 28.

Based on the listing, it is safe to assume that the Realme U1 will have a waterdrop-style notch and a premium design. The spec sheet of the phone is unknown, but we do know that it will be powered by MediaTek’s HelioP70 processor. The successor to Helio P60 is built using TSMC’s 12nm FinFet technology and offering the efficient AI-edge technology. According to MediaTek, its Helio P70 mobile processor is already under production.
