OnePlus Two, the rumoured successor to the successful OnePlus One Android device, could come with a Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC, according to a benchmark test which has been leaked.
The Geekbench Benchmark test for a device named OnePlus One A2001 was spotted on the site and since then has been picked up by various news reports. The benchmark test reveals that the model runs Android 5.1, has a ARM Qualcomm @ 1.55 GHz with 8 cores. The results add weight to the rumours that the OnePlus Two will come with Snapdragon 810 SoC.
Earlier a report on GizChina had noted how OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had discussed the specifications of his company’s upcoming smartphone on China’s Weibo site.

The report said that Lau had spoken about how OnePlus Two will launch in Q3 of 2015 and will come with Snapdragon 810 SoC. It will be priced at $403, if one were to go by Lau’s comments on Weibo.
Other rumours where the OnePlus Two is concerned state that it will have 3GB RAM, a 2K display which could have a bigger 6-inch screen and a fingerprint scanner.
Given that OnePlus One has been rated as one of the best Android devices out in the market, which can give many high-priced flagship devices a run for their money, no doubt interest in the second version of this device is high. Whether OnePlus Two comes with Snapdragon 810 remains to be seen, although OnePlus will try and offer higher specifications for its next flagship.
