OnePlus might be working on a new Android-powered tablet called the ‘OnePlus Pad Go’. While the company is yet to officially confirm the same, references about the device briefly appeared on the OnePlus forums.

According to a recent report by AndroidAuthority, a tipster named ‘@1NormalUsername’ saw a post on OnePlus forums that hinted at a new device, which has the model number ‘OPD2304’ in the device identifier field. However, the post was then deleted and couldn’t be seen again.

While the field is fairly easy to fake and the screenshot shared on the forums may not mean anything, the user also spotted the same model number (OPD2304) on the Bureau of Indian Standards website. According to the listing, the OnePlus Pad Go will be available in two variants, meaning the company might launch a cellular model alongside the Wi-Fi model.

However, the August 16 listing does not give any information about the OnePlus Pad Go, but rumour has it the upcoming tablet will be less powerful than the OnePlus Pad and aimed at users who want an affordable tablet. Since nothing is official at the moment, we recommend you take this information with a grain of salt since things may change down the line.

To give you a quick recap, the OnePlus Pad (review) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and comes with an 11.61-inch LCD screen with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the back, you get a 13MP camera and an 8MP selfie shooter. All of this is powered by a 9,510mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
