After launching the new OnePlus Watch 2, the company has also confirmed that its latest special edition smartphone — the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition — will launch in India and across the globe on February 28, based on the OnePlus 12R with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

OnePlus has also revealed early bird benefits, which include an instant discount on select bank cards, an exchange offer on old phones, and no-cost EMI plans. Interested parties can also participate in the Genshin Impact Edition Launch survey to win 500 Primogems.

OnePlus has also unveiled the design and some highlights of the upcoming smartphone, which includes a specially designed back panel in Electro Violet colour with the “Keqing” logo on the back of the smartphone and a special engraving of the same word, achieved using the electro-etching process, which can project the same on most surfaces.

According to leaks, compared to the regular edition, the OnePlus 12R (review) Genshin Impact Edition is said to offer double the storage (512 GB) and is also expected to offer 16 GB of RAM. Considering the video game Genshin Impact can easily take over 100 GB when all the resources are downloaded, the company might have decided to offer a higher storage variant, similar to the OnePlus 11R 5G Solar Red, which was launched last year.

The rest of the specifications will remain identical, which includes a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution curved display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary shooter, and the smartphone will include a large 5,500 mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging. In terms of software, the phone will ship with Android 14-based OxygenOS 14, and it is likely to include a special Genshin Impact-themed icon pack.
