OnePlus's first launch event of the year, dubbed "Smooth Beyond Belief," is just a few hours away, where the company has confirmed the launch of the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, and the OnePlus Buds 3. This time around, the event is hosted at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, which will be a global launch event. The event will kickstart at 7:30 PM in India, and users who have bought passes for the event can witness it from the venue, while the rest can virtually experience it via YouTube. What to expect from the OnePlus 12 launch event? The hero product of OnePlus's "Smooth Beyond Belief" launch event will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered OnePlus 12. Besides, the company has also confirmed the launch of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered OnePlus 12R and the OnePlus Buds 3. Considering the leaks and speculations, the OnePlus 12 will be a massive upgrade over its predecessor and will offer features like a 4th Gen Hasselblad camera system, a 5,500 mAh battery, wireless charging, and the device is also confirmed to include one of the brightest 2K resolution AMOLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate. And it is also confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will receive four years of major software updates. Similarly, the OnePlus 12R also gets some nice upgrades, featuring a metal frame with an overall design and build quality similar to the OnePlus 12. Lastly, the Buds 3 is expected to offer better audio quality and noise cancellation capabilities when compared to the OnePlus Buds 2 Pro. Some leaks also claim that OnePlus might also announce its second-generation smartwatch; however, as of now, there is no confirmation on the same from the brand.
