On Monday, Nothing introduced its latest smartphone from the sub-brand — the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which the company calls “unique, powerful, and fun.” This is a spiritual successor to the CMF Phone 1, launched back in 2024, and it packs quite a few upgrades, including a proper triple-camera setup.
The base variant of the CMF Phone 2 Pro with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB is priced at Rs 19,999, and the 256 GB variant costs Rs 20,999. Both variants will be available for purchase starting May 5 at a discounted price of Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 on Flipkart and other participating platforms on the launch day.
Besides the smartphone, Nothing has also introduced the CMF Buds 2 series, which consists of Buds 2a (Rs 2,199), Buds 2 (Rs 2,699), and Buds 2 Plus(Rs 3,299). All three earbuds are compatible with the Nothing X app and offer features like active noise cancellation, up to 14 hours of battery life (ANC off), and IP54/55 ratings for water and dust resistance.
Coming back to the phone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is Nothing’s slimmest smartphone, measuring 7.8mm and weighing 185 grams. It packs a 6.77-inch 120Hz OLED screen with Panda Glass protection. It features an improved modular design that includes an aluminium camera surround, stainless steel screws, and a dual-tone back panel. The device will be available in White, Black, Orange, and Light Green colour options.
This time around, Nothing is including more accessories in the box than ever, including a 33W fast charger, USB-C to C cable, phone case, SIM ejector pin, and a pre-applied screen protector. Do note that the company is bundling a charger only in India. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging and 5W reverse charging.
Nothing will also sell additional accessories such as the universal cover, interchangeable lenses (only for use with the universal cover), wallet and stand (only for use with the universal cover), and lanyard separately.
The biggest upgrade on the CMF Phone 2 Pro is the cameras, and the phone comes with a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP main wide-angle lens, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, with support for up to 4K video recording.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro with 8GB RAM, the phone comes with 128GB and 256GB storage options, along with a microSD card slot for additional storage expansion of up to 2TB. Out of the box, the CMF Phone 2 Pro ships with Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.2, and the device will receive three Android upgrades and six years of security patches.
