Featuring a large 6.67-inch pOLED screen with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and DC dimming support to reduce screen flickering in low brightness, the display of the Edge 50 Pro can reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. Motorola touts the Edge 50 Pro as the world’s first AI-powered pro-grade camera, validated by Pantone. The camera setup includes a 50 MP primary sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle lens (which also doubles as a macro lens), and a 10 MP telephoto lens with support for 3x optical zoom. AI is used to enhance the camera experience on the Edge 50 Pro, with features such as AI adaptive stabilisation, intelligent autofocus tracking, advanced long exposure, and tilt-shift mode. The company also employs an AI photo enhancement engine to improve dynamic range, achieve better bokeh, and reduce noise in images.

In terms of software, the phone ships with almost stock Android 14 OS with Hello UI on top. The device is promised to receive three major Android OS upgrades and four years of security patches. The smartphone has a 4,500 mAh battery with support for up to 125W of fast charging, along with 50W wireless charging capability.
