IQOO Z9s series with curved screen to launch on August 21

Both the iQOO Z9s Pro and iQOO Z9s will offer “segment leading performance and feature a premium curved design”

The iQOO Z9s Series is expected to be launched in India on August 21 offering users what the company claims will be the segment’s fastest curved screen.

It is confirmed that iQOO will introduce two smartphones simultaneously in the Z series — iQOO Z9s Pro and iQOO Z9s. Both the iQOO smartphones will offer “segment leading performance and feature a premium curved design”, it is learnt.

Announcing the launch date, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya posted on social media: “Mark your calendar— #iQOOZ9sSeries will elevate your Megatasking game! #FullyLoadedForTheMegaTaskers”.

In an interview with indianexpress.com last year, Marya had said how Indian customers were aware of what they needed, even if they were looking for devices in the lower price points. “They are buying into the brand promise and the product promise,” he had said.

iQOO Z9s Pro, iQOO Z9s price and features

As per GSM Arena, the iQOO Z9s Pro is expected to launch at Rs 25,000 while the more affordable iQOO Z9s will have a sub-Rs 20,000 price tag. The phone is expected to be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

A post on the company’s X handle, teased a iQOO Z9s Pro Luxé Marble version with a sleek, refined marble texture featuring a white base and delicate grey veining. The new models are expected to be more premium than the iQOO Z9 Lite launched a few weeks back.
