Flipkart has unveiled its biggest iPhone deal of the Big Billion Days sale. The iPhone 15 will be available at an all-time low price of Rs 54,999, making it almost Rs 25,000 cheaper when compared to the launch price of Rs 79,900. Similarly, the 256 GB variant of the iPhone 15 will retail for Rs 64,999, while the 512 GB variant is priced at Rs 84,999.

The bigger iPhone 15 Plus is also retailing at a much lower price of Rs 64,999 for the base 128 GB model, while the 256 and the 512 GB variants of the same are priced at Rs 74,999, and Rs 94,999, respectively. With additional bank discounts and exchange offers, one can get the base model of the iPhone 15 for as low as Rs 49,999.

Should you buy the iPhone 15/15 Plus in 2024?

Despite the iPhone 15 (review) being a year-old smartphone, it is still one of the most compelling iPhones, especially if you can get one under Rs 60,000. The latest iPhone 16 can be purchased for around Rs 75,000, post bank offers.

The only major difference between the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 16 (review) boils down to Apple Intelligence. The A18-powered iPhone 16 is eligible for Apple Intelligence, while the iPhone 15 isn’t. Again, considering the price difference of at least Rs 20,000, if you just want an iPhone for everyday usage, it makes sense to choose the iPhone 15, especially the higher 256 GB storage variant, and still save some money.

However, there are a few benefits of getting the iPhone 16, despite its higher cost, which includes the brand new A18 chip, ensuring extended software support and compatibility with upcoming features, and it is also the most affordable iPhone capable of playing AAA titles. On top of that, it also has the new camera capture button along with the action button.

Barring these differences, the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 15 are almost identical. Both iPhones have a smaller 6.1-inch 60Hz screen with a Dynamic Island, both devices also have a USB-C port for charging and data transfer, and even the cameras on these devices are almost identical, except for the orientation of the sensors.
