Huawei is expected to launch the 4G model in India in the budget smartphone category.

Huawei Honor 5C is expected to launch in India on June 22. The Chinese telecom giant has already sent out invites for the event.

Huawei Honor 5C was launched in China back in April. The smartphone was launched in two variants – 3G and 4G – for 899 yuan (Rs 9,190 approx) and 999 yuan (Rs 10,213 approx) respectively.

Honor 5C features a 5.2-inch Full HD display and is the likely successor to Honor 4C smartphone. Under the hood, Honor 5C is powered by an octa-core Kirin 650 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage.

Honor 5C is a camera-centric smartphone. It comes with 13MP image sensor at the back and an eight mp front camera. Honor 5C runs EMUI 4.1 based on Android Marshmallow. Honor 5C also gets a rear fingerprint scanner like Honor 5X.

Huawei Honor 5C is backed by a non-removable 3000mAh battery and is available in silver and grey colour options. Huawei is expected to launch the 4G model in India in the budget smartphone category.
