HMD’s Nokia 3210 feature phone is for ‘digital detox’, but comes with YouTube

This feature phone won't let you get bored even when you are 'digital detoxing.'

Human Mobile Devices (HMD) is known for rebooting classic Nokia phones, and this time around, the Finnish company is bringing back the legendary 3210. The Nokia 3210, predecessor to the classic Nokia 3310, which got its own reboot in 2017.

The latest iteration of the Nokia 3210 is dubbed as a device for digital detox but is a 4G-capable phone, powered by an improved version of the S30+ platform. It will have a few, basic cloud apps like YouTube Shorts, news, weather, and an upgraded version of the snake game.

Despite being a feature phone, it will make for a practical device in 2024.

For now, there is no information on how much the Nokia 3210 will cost in India. It is priced at £75 in the UK and is likely to cost around Rs 4,000 in India.

The specifications of the Nokia 3210 are at par with some other feature phones of this class. This includes a 2.4-inch colour display and a 2 MP primary camera with an LED flash. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0, allowing users to pair a wireless earphone to tune into FM and play music via the music player.

The phone comes with 128 GB of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot that can support up to 32 GB. This can be used to store pictures captured on the device.

Despite its smaller 1,450 mAh user removable battery, HMD claims the Nokia 3210 can last up to 9.8 hours of calling, and offer a few days of standby time. The phone charges via a USB-C port.
