Google’s innovative Circle to Search was first introduced on the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones, which was later expanded to the Pixel 8 and the Pixel 7 series of smartphones. In an X post, Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote, “Starting this week, we’re bringing Circle to Search to more Pixel and Samsung phones, foldables, and tablets. And soon, you can use Circle to Search to instantly translate whatever’s on your screen without switching apps.”

The company has also confirmed that Circle to Search will be coming to the Pixel Fold and the Pixel Tablet in the coming days. Samsung is also enabling Google’s Circle to Search capability on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and the Galaxy S23 FE. Google’s Circle to Search is an innovative way of searching the web using an image or a subject. Users can trigger the Circle to Search option by long-pressing on the home button and then marking or circling around the subject to get similar products and product-related details from the Google search engine.

Circle to Search makes it easy to identify and shop for products that a user might have spotted on a social media platform or in a video. The feature is currently limited to Google and Samsung devices, and in the coming days, more Android smartphones are likely to gain this capability.
