Gionee has launched the successor of its Marathon M3 smartphone in India. The new M4 has almost the same specs including the size of the battery but costs Rs 15,499. The previous Marathon M3 smartphone was launched at Rs 12,999.
The new verison comes with support for 4G connectivity on both SIM card slots and runs on Android 5.0-based Amingo OS. It sports a 5-inch 720p HD display with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Powered by a 5,000 mAh battery, it runs on a 1.3Ghz quad-core procesor with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB.
The Marathon M4 will be available in Black and White colours and claims to deliver 50 hours of talktime and 440 hours of standby time.
