The iPhone 17 has been available for a few months now, but the vanilla iPhone 16 is still one of the best Apple smartphones one can buy. Earlier this year, Counterpoint Research said that the iPhone 16 was Apple’s best-selling smartphone in India, capturing about four per cent of total smartphone sales in the month of September.
Launched last year, the iPhone 16 (review) had a starting price tag of Rs 79,990, but now the Tata-owned e-commerce platform Croma is selling it for less than Rs 65,000. If you are looking to buy a new smartphone, here’s how to grab the deal. The base variant of the iPhone 16, which comes with 128GB storage, is available on Croma in five colour variants – Black, White, Pink, Ultramarine, and Teal. Without any bank offers, the phone is available for Rs 66,990.
If you want more storage, Croma is selling the iPhone 16 256GB and 512GB variants for Rs 76,490 with the bank offers as above, meaning you can grab it for as less as Rs 72,490.
To give you a quick recap, the iPhone 16 is a compact smartphone with a 6.1-inch OLED screen and runs on iOS 18 out of the box. Powered by the Apple A18 chipset, the phone has a 48MP primary camera alongside a 12MP ultrawide shooter. Weighing just 170 grams, the iPhone 16 comes with IP68 dust and water resistance and supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
