Apple’s 4-inch screen iPhone 5se will launch on March 15, says a new report.

Apple will launch the 4-inch iPhone 5se along with a new iPad Air 3, and an updated Apple Watch on March 15, says a new report on 9to5Mac by Mark Gurman.

The report, however, notes that the final date could change given that the launch is still more than a month away. It adds that the 4-inch iPhone 5se will start at $450 for the 16GB version.

Leaked pictures have indicated that the iPhone 5se, where ‘SE’ stands for special edition, follows the design of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s series with more rounded volume buttons on the side.

An earlier report from 9to5Mac said that the 4-inch iPhone will have an A8 processor, although the latest report mentions A9 as the likely processor. The rear and front camera will remain the same as the original iPhone 5s, although it will have a new NFC chip for Apple Pay and barometer for tracking elevation in the Health app.

The new upgraded iPhone 5se will also support Live photos and will have a rose-gold colour option. It won’t have a 3D Touch Display.

Apple Watch will only get band upgrades, and possibly a FaceTime camera. Recently pictures of a Black-coloured Milanese loop band were spotted on Apple’s Czech republic website, sparking speculation that the bands will go on sale soon. However the pictures were taken down.

Apple could add bands made out of new materials as well. Where casings, other hardware upgrades go, the wait will continue till September, say reports.

For iPad Air 3, we could see more iPad Pro like features such as support for a Smart Keyboard and enhanced speakers, says 9to5Mac.
