Microsoft is reportedly working on a more compact version of the Surface Pro and an ARM-powered device named Surface Go 4. According to a report by Windows Central, Surface Go 4 and Surface Pro go by the codename 'Tanta' and 'Luxor'. The base variant of the Surface Go 4 will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 7c chipset with performance similar to the current-gen Surface Go and come with increased power efficiency that might translate to better battery life. The report suggests that the upcoming ARM-based device might also bring support for 5G. Microsoft is also expected to launch an Intel-powered Surface Go 4. Coming to the Surface Pro, Microsoft is reportedly working on two variants, one with a 13-inch screen and another one with an 11-inch display. The latter will have a footprint similar to the currently available Surface Go and sport a 120Hz display. We suggest you take this information with a grain of salt since nothing is certain at the moment and things might change down the line.
