Red Dead Redemption on PC? Now removed Sony PlayStation Store listing suggests so

While part of the post that mentioned the PC version has now been removed, known tipster Wario64 managed to grab a screenshot of the now-modified text. According to the PlayStation Store, the PC version would feature “the complete single-player experiences of both games, including bonus content from the Game of the Year Edition, Red Dead Redemption features all of the 2023 console version upgrades plus PC-specific enhancements including support for increased resolutions and framerates, multiple display, and other accessories, plus spatial surround sound,” but there is no mention of multi-player support.

One thing to note here is that the PlayStation 4 version of the game, which was launched last year, also lacked multi-player support, so chances are that Rockstar Games is porting this version to the PC.

Earlier this year, in May, a data mine suggested that Rockstar Games was working to bring Red Dead Redemption to the PC, but the recent PlayStation Store description is confusing. If Rockstar Games was working on a PC version of Red Dead Redemption, they would likely have made the announcement on their own website instead of updating the PlayStation Store description page first. Chances are that someone at Sony may have accidentally leaked the information.

Rockstar Games is known for favouring consoles over PC for over a decade. The gaming studio launched the recent GTA version on the PlayStation and Xbox first. PC versions released a few years later.
