Microsoft Sunday held its Xbox showcase event, showing a list of new games for Xbox and PC. The lineup includes Starfield, CyberPunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, and more. There was no mention of the long-rumoured Xbox Streaming Stick, but Microsoft did announce a new variant of the Xbox Series S.
Here are the highlights from the Microsoft Xbox Showcases 2023:
Microsoft Xbox head Phil Spencer announced a new variant of the Xbox Series S called Carbon Black, which now comes with 1 TB of storage and is priced at $349 at Xbox Showcase 2023. It's already on pre-order and will go on sale in select markets starting September 1.
Microsoft also unveiled a Starfield-themed Xbox controller and headset at its showcase 2023 event. The console is priced at $79.99 and the new headset costs $124.99, both featuring a Starfield-themed paint job. On top of that, the gaming studio also showcased a watch, which will be included as a part of the collectors' edition.
Microsoft also released the official trailer of its upcoming racing simulator game Forza Motorsports at Xbox Showcase 2023. The video game will officially launch on October 10 for both Xbox and PC. 
The next iteration of Flight Simulator 2024 gets a few more things, including hot air balloons, aerial fire fighting, and the game is landing by the end of 2024 for both Xbox and PC. Similarly, the company also announced an update to the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. 
CD Projekt showcased its biggest update since the original launch of bug-ridden Cyberpunk 2077. Phantom Liberty, starring Idris Elba is the extension of Cyberpunk 2077 and will go official for Xbox and PC from September 27. 
Star Wars: Outlaws is the next videogame from Ubisoft, which was also unveiled at the Xbox showcase 2023. Set to release in 2024, the game will be available on all the major platforms, including PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. 
Ready for release in 2024, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is another interesting title that was unveiled at the Xbox showcase 2023, which will be coming to PC, Xbox Series S|X by the end of 2024. 
Blizzard showcased the official trailer of Overwatch 2 Invasion with new missions and story content. This video game will be available for Xbox, PC, and even for PlayStation starting August 10.
