Samsung committed to smart home revolution: CEO

Samsung CEO BK Yoon on Friday ushered in a new era in smart homes across the world by committing one of the largest tech companies in the world towards the cause. He called on all companies to collaborate and help bring the “future home”. He said the homes of the future must be protective, flexible and responsive. “But each family has its own requirements. So there will be not one but a billion smart homes of the future,” he said in the keynote address at opening of the IFA 2014 in Berlin.

Samsung research has shown how diverse our lifestyles are across the world, he said, adding that the future homes will be here before you know it.
