JioTV+ uses AI to blur adult scenes and audio

JioTV+ recently introduced a new feature called AI Sensor which automatically censors all adult scenes and also mutes the audio, if needed.

JioTV+ is an app for smart TVs, which also comes bundled with Jio set-top boxes, offered both on live TV channels and OTT subscriptions. JioTV+ is a complimentary service available for Jio Fiber and Jio AirFiber subscribers. It offers more than 800 TV channels and all the major OTT platforms such as Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Zee5, and more.

This is different from JioTV, the standalone OTT app that can be installed on smartphones and smart TVs as JioTV+ can only be used on televisions. The app was recently made available on PlayStore, Galaxy Store, and LG Content Store, allowing users with multiple televisions to access JioTV+ seamlessly. Again, the app will only work if the smart TV is connected to a JioFiber-powered Wi-Fi or LAN network.

The number of services offered on JioTV+ depends on the Jio Fiber or Jio AirFiber plan one has subscribed to.

Once enabled, JioTV+ will ensure you never face those awkward situations while binge-watching your favourite movie or web series with your family.
