Sevilal and Liverpool had shared spoils the last time they met in the group stages. At Anfield, Liverpool led 2-1 before Sevilla drew to share spoils. On Tuesday evening as Liverpool travelled to Spain, the outcome was the same – points shared in a draw – but how it came about left many Reds disappointed and angry. The English side scored in as early as the second minute and were off to a 3-0 lead in half an hour. Sevilla turned things around in the second half and capped it all off with a stoppage time goal. Comeback complete. In other results from the night, Real Madrid progressed into the last-16 and Manchester City ensured they would finish top with a 1-0 win over Feyenoord.
