India A captain Jitesh Sharma takes the responsibility for the defeat, says his dismissal was critical in the run-chase and should have finished it off. Also says that the decision to not send Vaibhav (and Priyansh) was because they are gun batters in the powerplay but Jitesh, Ramandeep and Ashutosh are designated death batters so it was a high-percentage call.

Bangladesh A captain Akbar Ali is very candid in his reflections. Says he apologised to the team heading into the Super Over and that he took responsibility in case they lost it.

Saqlain, who has been super impressive so far, comes on for his fourth and final over. Ramandeep plays a smart late cut off the second ball for four behind square on the offside. But Saqlain comes back well with two dot balls. A cut straight to the fielder and then a reverse scoop that is completely missed by the batter. Another fine over from Saqlain... until a gift off the last ball on the pads to Nehal, who lifts it over fine leg. Disappointing end to a fine spell from the pacer.

India need 21 off 12 balls.

Remember Bangladesh scored 50 off the last 12 balls.

A four for Ramandeep Singh off the first ball he faces, a lovely backfoot punch for four past cover. But it is actually otherwise a really good over from Meherob, who has had a fine day.

India A need 39 off 4 overs.

6, 4, DROPPED! Jitesh has been struggling for timing most of his innings. But he deides to take on Hider's left-arm pace here. Reads the change of pace and smashes one down the ground towards the sightscreen for six. A cheeky attempt at a paddle takes the top edge and goes for four over the keeper's head. He should have been gone next ball, a square drive dropped at point.

Second life for Jitesh and both off Hider.

That's another fine over from Rakibul Hasan, the left-arm spinner giving no room to work with for either Jitesh or Nehal.

If they keep wicktes in hand, they should be able to cross the finish line but remember Bangladesh scored 75 off the last 30 balls, India A can't afford to try and replicate that.

BIG OVER! AND CHANCE MISSED!

Priyansh drags the momentum back in India's favour, with a sequence of 4-6-4. The six down the ground, and the two fours through the offisde. The second four was a thing of beauty, a yorker squeezed past two fielders in the ring.

Last ball of the over, Jitesh gets a life. Mishit from Jitesh and Yasir can't hold on at deep square leg this time. Hider unlucky there.

A boundary drought ends but very streakily. It was shaping into another fine over from Saqlain with just 2 runs off the first five balls, but Priyansh manages to lob one over cover. It trickles down to the boundary line. Not in control but India will take that, things had come to a screeching halt after Vaibhav fell.

Vaibhav was pretty crossed with himself as he slowly trudged off the field. A flying start but the youngster will have to learn to make these more substantial. Especially after he was beaten off the last two deliveries he faced.

Fine over from Saqlain, Naman is the new batter in.

Spectator? Not anymore. Priyansh Arya smashes back-to-back sixes in the third over, taking on the offspin of Jishan. First over extra cover and then a MASSIVE strike down the ground. Biggest six of the match presumably.

SIX SIXES IN THE FIRST THREE OVERS FOR INDIA A.

WHAT A START! Vaibhav smashes two sixes in the first over and follows that up with a four. The sixes were over midwicket as Ripon dropped a couple of deliveries short. Picked up the lengths superbly. The four was well-timed past cover.

Vaibhav has gone past Habibur for most sixes in the tournament now, with 20 and counting perhaps.

WHAT A FINISH FROM BANGLADESH! This time Yasir Ali, two fours through the square leg then a lovely lofted drive over point for a six. And then Meherob smashes a six over long on for another six. He finishes on 48 off 18 balls.

We didn't think 160 was on the cards but the last two overs have gone for APLENTY.

Gurjapneet's last over was off to a good start as he kept things full. But the moment he went for a change-up with a dug-in short ball, Meherob smashes one wide of long on for a much-needed six for Bangladesh A. 160 back in sight for Bangladesh after that over. Gurjapneet finishes with 2/39.

Naman Dhir to bowl the 19th. Can Bangladesh make India pay for this?

That's a fine catch! Priyansh runs to his left from long on and takes a good catch diving to his left. And the move to bring on Naman Dhir works for Jitesh.

THAT IS THE WICKET INDIA WANTED! Habibur was the danger man here and this could well be game-defining and shave a good chunk off India's target. Gurjapneet, after being hit for a streaky four over short third, comes back with a change of pace and has the opener mistming one straight to the fielder at cover. Low full toss does the trick. End of a fine innings.

SUYASH STRIKES! The spinners have looked India's best bets for wickets and Suyash delivers a breakthrough. Abu Hider goes for a sweep, the speed defeats him and the edge is taken by Jitesh. But really, India and Suyash would have preferred the wicket of Habibur, who looked to be trapped plumb in front in the first ball of the over but wasn't given out.

A tame dismissal for the Bangladesh captain as he lofts one back softly to the bowler. Harsh completes a simple caught & bowled and finishes with a wicket in his last over for the day.

Akbar Ali c & b Harsh Dubey 9 (10 balls)

A full toss from Suyash is paddled behind for four by captain Akbar, who is the new batter in. "Jitna bola, utna kar..." is the message from the slightly annoyed India captain Jitesh from behind the stumps. And it is a good comeback from Suyash too, just two singles in the over after that four.

SIX AND OUT! Oh dear. Abrar welcomed Ramandeep with a big six over square leg and you thought maybe now he can open up. But he'd not want to see the replay of this dismissal. Short and wide, begging to be put away, but he cuts it to the fielder at deep point. Tame dismissal. India won't mind.

Suyash has been unlucky here. Both the batters have struggled to pick him but the edges have been beaten and the mishits haven't carried. Another tight over from him.

Tight first over from Suyash Sharma and India's fielding continues to remain sharp as well. Bangladesh's blistering start has been cooled down significantly here.

A good over from Gurjapneet ends with a boundary for Bangladesh as Habibur goes high over the midwicket region. Doesn't go all the way but a four nevertheless.

Harsh Dubey is welcomed into the bowling attack with a slog for over long on for six! Jishan's second six of the match already. After an edgy start, he has played some fine shots. Dubey comes back well enough to limit damage.

A break in play here... Jitesh is getting some treatment.

Streaky four this time. Jishan throws his bat at one just outside offstump, the outside edge flies past the only slip fielder. Nothing streaky about the next boundary as Jishan clears his front leg and slogs one over square leg. Fourth ball, Jishan rocks back and smashes a pickup pull over fine leg for a six!

The broadcasters flash a stat that Bangladesh A have the best powerplay runrate in the tournament so far, going at above 10 an over.

Vyshak with a slightly erratic start. Three dot balls but interspersed with a couple of wides, the second one really wild down the leg side which Jitesh does really well to dive and stop. That was heading for the boundary line. Off the fifth ball, a STREAKY SIX. Possibly the best ball Vyshak bowled in that over, Habibur is squared up as he tried to play a flick but it took the leading edge and flew all the way to six over third man. Wow, that travelled quite a bit.Vyshak finishes the over with a dot ball that zips past the batter and the bowler gives a stare down.

EVENTFUL START.

Salman Butt at the pitch report: Center pitch, where it all started on the first day when plenty of sixes were hit. There was a day off so the groundsmen had enough time to prepare it, the bowlers' margin of error is very small.

When Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Naman Dhir were in the middle, India A appeared to be heading to another big score, even if not at the rate they were against UAE a couple of days back. But after Naman fell in the 9th over and Vaibhav followed him in the 10th, India A went from 91/2 to 136 all out against Pakistan A in the Rising Stars Asia Cup tournament in Doha. That collapse proved decisive as Pakistan A cruised past the finish line in just 13.2 overs, riding on an unbeaten 79 from left-handed opener Maaz Sadaqat, who had also picked up a couple of wickets earlier. India's pacers couldn't cause early dents in the defence, leaking boundaries and extras as Jitesh Sharma-led India suffered a heavy defeat.

With the ball in hand, Bangladesh A Ripon Mondal is leading the charts with 7 wickets in three matches. For India A , left-arm pacer Gurjapneet Singh has five wickets.
