ICC WTC 2025-2027 Updated Standings: Pakistan pulled off a 93-run win over south Africa, ending the reigning World Test Championship title holders’ 10-match winning streak. Noman Ali was the star of the match, snapping 10-191 as the Proteas were bowled out for 183 runs. With the win, Pakistan rose to the 2nd position in the table and are just below Australia.

After a valiant 2-2 series draw against England away from home, Shubman Gill started his first home Test series as a captain with a 2-0 clean sweep of West Indies, as India beat the Roston Chase side comfortably by seven wickets in the New Delhi Test on Tuesday.

Chasing 121, opener KL Rahul guided the home side with a quality half-century after Kuldeep Yadav wreaked havoc with the ball in the first innings. Ravindra Jadeja was awarded the Player of the Series award for his brilliant all-round show.

How the WTC table looks after Pakistan’s victory

Pakistan rose to 2nd in the standings after defeating South Africa in the 1st Test on Wednesday. Meanwhile, 4th-placed India’s points percentage (PCT) has gone up to 61.90. The PCT was at 55.56 after the Ahmedabad Test where India won the match by an innings and 140 runs to get 12 points. Now, after gaining 24 points from 2 Tests, India have been pushed closer to third-placed Sri Lanka’s 66.67. The PCT is the percentage of points won out of the number of points that a team has contested for.

Meanwhile, Australia (100.00 PCT) remain top of the table, having won all three Tests they have played thus far. Sri Lanka are third after winning the two-match Test series against Bangladesh 1-0.

India have now won four of the seven Tests they have played in this cycle. England (43.33) are fourth with two wins, two draws and a loss in five Tests while Bangladesh (16.67) are fifth with one draw and one loss in two Tests. The West Indies (0) are sixth, having lost all five Tests they have played thus far in this cycle. New Zealand are yet to start their new WTC cycles.
