Salman Khan campaigns,but does not vote

Salman Khan actively participated in campaigning for major political parties but did not turn up to vote.

Preaching and practising are two different things. Salman Khan,who actively participated in campaigning for major political parties,did not turn up to vote on Thursday.

The Bollywood star,who often hogs limelight for all the wrong reasons,is said to be in London. Salman,who regularly performs at marriages and parties for a price,for the first time showed interest in campaigning too.

True to his wont,he was different and campaigned for the candidate he chose and did not stick to a particular party,like his other Bollywood colleagues did.

Salman campaigned for BJP’s Vinod Khanna,who is contesting from Gurdaspur in Punjab,Congress’ Milind Deora from Mumbai South and Congress’ Anu Tandon from Unnao in Uttar Pradesh.

The actor is a resident of Mumbai’s suburban township of Bandra.
