The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party on Wednesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of violating the model code of conduct by asking the electorate to throw out two families who have ruled and looted the state for the past 10 years.
In a written complaint to the Chief Election Commissioner V S Sampath, party chief patron Prof Bhim Singh complained that Modi, during his speech at Kishtwar on Saturday, violated the Code of Conduct as he tried to accuse and defame two families instead of political parties. Moreover, by using the words “ukhar ke phenk do”, Modi had tried to incite violence, which was a criminal offence, Singh said. He also requested the EC to screen Modi’s speech. ens
