Congress termed choice of Meira Kumar for the post of Lok Sabha Speaker as a move towards women empowerment. "She (Meira) is a five-time elected MP and of (retired) IFS.her nomination to the speaker's post should not be linked with any politics," Mohan Prakash,AICC spokesman told a press conference in Jaipur.
