Disunity and arrogance of power caused the defeat of the Left in the recent Lok Sabha elections,RSP General Secretary T J Chandrachoodan has said. The arrogance had resulted in the fallen moral standards and lack of faith in each other in the Left,he said at a meeting in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday in memory of late K Vijayaraghavan,a veteran Malayalam journalist and revolutionary socialist. The electon was not a victory for the Opposition. We ourselves became the Opposition, he said. The state government had done a lot of good things. But even when we did so,we fought among ourselves, he said.
