Three persons, including two women, died and five others were injured today when a bus rammed their car on the Anupgarh-Raisinghnagar highway in Raisinghnagar town, police said. While car driver Gurupreet Singh (40) died on the spot, Sarabjeet Kaur (50) and Simranpal Kaur (52) died undergoing treatment at a hospital, SHO Raisinghnagar police station, Arvind Bishnoi told PTI. The eight occupants of the car were returning to Raisinghnagar from Anupgarh after attending a marriage ceremony when the incident took place, he said. The bus driver, who is absconding, has been booked under relevant sections of IPC, police said. The bodies have been handed over to the family members following postmortem.
