Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked his party MPs, other than those given duties in poll-bound states, to attend the Budget Session, even as he defended his government’s decision to advance the date of presenting the Union Budget. Addressing party MPs, he said the Budget, which will be presented on Wednesday, would expedite the execution of the development work of his government. “Today, a new tradition will begin. First, the Budget is being advanced by nearly a month. And second, Rail Budget in being incorporated into this. There will be discussion on this also and the benefits that it will have in the coming times,” he said.
