Team India’s fielding coach had submitted a detailed fitness and fielding report to the Board at the conclusion of the one-day series against Pakistan, and Yuvraj has expectedly topped the list. Virender Sehwag has been termed satisfactory in the field, but has been asked to improve on his throw, while Zaheer Khan’s throw while running in for the ball in the outfield needed further work.

This report is part of routine assessment of the team on a time-to-time basis while another report on the overall endurance and sprinting abilities is expected to be submitted by trainer Gregory King at the end of the Test series.
