Workshop ONECCE on Friday

VADODARA, May 17: The Early Childhood Development 8211; Learning Resource Centre in collaboration with UNICEF will organise a workshop on Role of Media in Early Childhood Care and Education ECCE: Advocacy and Awareness8217; on May 22 at Hotel Surya Palace between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm.

The workshop aims to seek support from the media and sensitise teachers, parents and society as a whole about ECCE. Ila Verma of UNICEF will speak about the workshop followed by a key-note address by professor Amita Verma, Honorary Advisor of WHOTRAC WSRC. M S University Vice-Chancellor Padma Ramachandran will also be present on the occasion.

Professor Prerana Mohite of the M S University8217;s Home Science Department and Dr Siddharath Nirupam will speak on Current Perspective on Early Child Development8217; at the workshop. In the concluding session, Ila Verma will hold an open discussion on the involvement of the media in Early Child Development.
