
CHANDIGARH, Feb 10: A seminar-cum-workshop on Cake Icing and Decoration was held here today at the local Food Craft Institute. Over 400 housewives and students from various city colleges and industry professionals attended the two sessions, where concepts like the importance of cake decoration, basic principles of cake design, its types and the equipment used, were discussed.
Master bakers Islamuddin and Rajan Satija demonstrated their skills in creating delicate pieces of art such as roses, lace work and cartoon characters. The seminar was jointly conducted by experts from the Society of Indian Bakers and the Food Craft Institute.
