DUBAI: Indians top the list of buyers in the worlds tallest tower having acquired space worth 7.9 million in the first seven months of the skyscrapers opening. Prominent buyers of swanky apartments in the 100 floor Burj Khalifa tower include London-based NRI businessman Raj Kundra,who presented an apartment to his wife Shilpa Shetty. Local businessman of Indian origin B R Shetty,who is managing director and CEO of the New Medical Centre Group of Companies in Abu Dhabi,has also bought the entire 100th floor in the tower. Rizwan Sajan,Chairman of Danube Group is also reported to have recently purchased an apartment in the tower.

One in five US divorces involves Facebook

WASHINGTON: A survey has revealed that one in five divorces in the US now involve the popular social networking sites Facebook or Twitter. According to the survey by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers,a staggering 80 per cent of divorce lawyers have also reported a spike in the number of cases that use social media for evidence of cheating. Flirty messages and photographs found on Facebook are increasingly being cited as proof of unreasonable behaviour or irreconcilable differences. Many cases revolve around social media users who get back in touch with old flames they hadnt heard from in many years,the Daily Mail reported.
