Los Angeles: Just a day after announcing that she and husband of five years,Jordan Bratman,have separated,popstar Christina Aguilera has filed for divorce. The 29-year-old singer listed the Hollywood standard irreconcilable differences as the reason,reported People online. The singer and her 33-year-old husband have a two-year-old son Max together. She was spotted taking him out to a play centre after a meeting her lawyers.
First edition of Orwells 1984 found in shop
London: A first edition of George Orwells classic 1984,found in a charity shop by a bargain hunter,is all set to go under the hammer in Australia. The rare edition is estimated to fetch several thousand dollars and will be auctioned this weekend. The proceeds of the auction will be donated to Lifeline,an Australian crisis support hotline,Contactmusic reported. The hardback book was printed in 1949. It was picked out by volunteer Paul Hol out of a heap of literary donations at a charity store in Wollongong.
