Workload increasing,RSS expands top team

RSS added 2 more Sahsarkaryawahs, both from younger lot of front leaders.

The RSS has added two more Sahsarkaryawahs to its team, both from the younger lot of front leaders and one of them a new face.

Six other new faces have also come in at various senior positions. Suresh Chandra has replaced Madan Das Devi as Pracharak Pramukh head of full-time volunteers force. Chandra was earlier Sahpracharak Pramukh.

Suresh Soni and Dattatreya Hosbale have been retained as Sahsarkaryawahs, and K C Kannan from Kerala, the Sharirik Pramukh in the earlier team, and Krishna Gopal from UP have been given the position in the new team finalised on Sunday.

Kannan is in his 40s and Gopal is in mid-50s. This is also a logical extension of the process of bringing younger faces that began with Mohan Bhagwat taking over as RSS chief. This team will now last for more or less 10 years since the process of bringing youth to the leadership has almost fructified now, sources said.

Publicity in-charge Manmohan Vaidya said: There is a need to share the growing RSS work, which is growing in terms of both magnitude and dimensions. The two more Sahsarkaryawahs have been drafted precisely for that. Gopal is the new entrant in the team
