The US has assured the National Investigation Agency access to LeT operative David Coleman Headley and his female friend

The US has assured the National Investigation Agency access to LeT operative David Coleman Headley and his female friend.

Besides the two,the NIA team that recently visited the US to discuss Mutual Legal Assitance Treaty has also sought access to Headley’s wife Shazia Gilani and his associate Tahawwur Hussain Rana, who has been named as one of the accused in the 26/11 attack conspiracy.

The NIA believes Shazia was used as cover by Headley while scouting for targets in Mumbai. The couple had stayed at Hotel Taj Palace and The Oberoi, both of which were attacked on 26/11.
