With the Pay Commission issue for the Armed Forces still not fully resolved to everyones liking,a spate of emails are doing the rounds about the insensitive government. However,one email sent by the Armys public relations cell took all mediapersons by surprise. The press release had uncharacteristic and revolt-like quotes of Army Chief Gen Deepak Kapoor and talked about how dissatisfied the Armed Forces were. The tone of the release indicated a possible mutiny by the Army. While it turned out to be a hoax,the mail looked shockingly genuine,even giving the mobile number of a Maj Gen and those of other key officials of the media department. There was some quick damage control and an investigation is underway.
